Dedicated to uplifting spirits and offering assistance to those facing obstacles, MIRACLE ON LONG STREET strives to bring positive change to the community. With a focus on care, support, and empowerment, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in need.

We’re excited to share that Miracle on Long Street placed Second in this year’s Kiwanis Regatta fundraising event!

With your incredible support, we received 4,300 votes, raising a total of $4,300 toward our mission.

Over the past year, we have been blessed with the opportunity to serve and support our community through a variety of impactful charitable events.
Each event was a testament to the power of unity and compassion. We look forward to continuing this important work in the year ahead and expanding our reach to touch even more lives.

Summary of Community Outreach Activities

Miracle on Long Street Holiday Giveaway – Provided meals, toys, coats, scarves, hats, gloves ,household items , hygiene kits and essential items to families in need.

Summer Time Pop-Ups (June, July, August) Partnership between Miracle on Long Street, 614 Prevention, and St. Dominic Neighborhood Café. Served breakfast and lunch in a welcoming and respectful environment. Offered distributions of clothing, meals, books, toys, household items, hygiene kits, crafts and community resource guides.

Poindexter Village Legacy Pointe Community Day – Participated in a day of community celebration and outreach. Provided toys, books, snacks and children's craft table.

Long Street Little Food Pantry – Regular deliveries of canned goods to support local food access.

Poindexter Village Almsgiving - Provided food boxes to senior residents during Lent.

Poindexter Village Trunk or Treat Event – Participated in a family-friendly Halloween celebration.

Poindexter Village Easter Dress Giveaway – Distributed Easter dresses to local families.

Bella Terrace Nursing Home Valentine’s Day Celebration – Shared love and fellowship with residents.

Star House (Ages 14–24) – Served homeless youth by providing Snack & Sip bags and hygiene kits.

Beatty Park Elementary – Supplied Thanksgiving meals and break-time care packages for students and families.

Mount Carmel Mobile Unit – Delivered hygiene kits monthly to those in need.

Treats 4 the Streets at Columbus Library – Participated in food giveaway to individuals facing food instability.

Second Baptist Church – Feeding on the Streets – Supported meals for the Outdoor Picnic for community.

Wilberforce University Choir – Donated funds for food and hygiene kits in support of outreach efforts.

The Open Shelter – Advocacy Center – Provided regular deliveries of food and clothing for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
